The Nazareth College Student Handbook provides detailed policies that all students are responsible for knowing & abiding by.
The Student Conduct Office promotes a living-learning environment that is conducive to educational achievement and to the integration of intellectual, social, and personal growth. We are dedicated to productively working with students who may have violated the Student Conduct Code. The conduct process is considered to be educational in nature and focuses on personal growth and development. Through our interactions with students we empower them to make their own decisions and take responsibility for their actions.
The mission of the Student Conduct Office is to ensure the fair and consistent resolution of alleged violations of the College's Conduct Code while protecting the relevant rights of all students. Through a process of informal and formal hearings we provide students with opportunities for dialogue and reflection. We strive to assist students in understanding how their actions could negatively impact other individuals, the community and their own personal goals. In addition, we encourage students to exercise better judgment in order for them to achieve their potential as members of the Nazareth community.
