Nazareth College received the Educational Champion Award from the Rochester Regional Veterans Council.  President Daan Braveman recently accepted the award during the 2011 Business Expo. The Rochester Regional Veterans Council recognizes organizations or individuals who have helped improve, support and encourage veterans in business, education and community services.

The Rochester Regional Veterans Business Council provides veteran business owners and operators a forum for members to make the veteran business community an economic force in employment and business development, and provide support to veteran owned businesses. It also provides a forum for networking and education, and supports reintegration of veterans into the workforce and organizations in the Rochester region.
