Nazareth is named a 2024 Green College by Princeton Review

Published January 03, 2024

The Princeton Review has named Nazareth University a green college in its 2024 edition of its annual Guide to Green Colleges for fostering a culture of environmental responsibility.

Students, faculty, and staff at Nazareth University take action to address sustainability through academic degrees in the field; student clubs; campus programs that share bikes, skis, and snowshoes; recycling; sourcing local food; composting; reducing energy use; converting cooking oil to biodiesel for campus equipment; operating a green facilities fleet; and more. The Guide to Green Colleges features profiles of 522 schools, listed alphabetically by name. The Princeton Review says schools that were selected for the guide all have exceptional programs, policies, and practices related to sustainability and the environment.
