WHAT: Nazareth College is proud to present An Evening with Jean Reno at the Nazareth College Arts Center. The international film star will speak to students and the Rochester community on August 30 at 7 p.m. His lecture is free and open to the public. Reno will speak about his film career and the craft of making movies.
Working in both French and English, he has appeared in numerous successful Hollywood productions such as The Pink Panther, Godzilla, The Da Vinci Code, Mission: Impossible, Ronin, and The Professional but also in European productions such as the French films Les Visiteurs and Léon (French version of The Professional) along with the 2005 Italian film The Tiger and the Snow.
Reno is life-long friends with Nazareth’s Candide Carrasco, Ph.D., professor and chair of the Foreign Languages department, and himself an accomplished playwright. Reno caught the acting bug in one of Carrasco’s first plays in high school in Morocco.
