Congratulations on your decision to attend Nazareth!
New Student Orientation for the 2013-2014 academic year starts on Thursday, August 22. All new students arrive on that day and the Orientation program runs through Sunday, August 25. Classes begin on Monday, August 26. As a campus we anxiously await your arrival and have prepared this website to answer questions that you and your families may have as you prepare for August 22nd.
As orientation for new students begins, you should know that we have been preparing for your arrival to campus for quite some time. Whether you are a freshman or a transfer student, resident or commuter, our New Student Orientation Committee will make every effort to make you feel welcome. We cannot stress enough how important it is that you attend all of the programs and activities included in the orientation schedule.
The orientation program is designed to help new first year and transfer students in their early transition and adjustment to life at Nazareth. Each new incoming student is assigned an orientation group with a current Nazareth student as their orientation leader. New students spend the weekend with their group learning about campus life, student services, and college policies; meeting with their academic advisors; participating in community service and getting to know other students, faculty and staff.
