Play is a perfect way to engage children in therapy. It is developmentally appropriate, allows children to express both comfortable and uncomfortable thoughts and emotions, and gives the therapist valuable insights into the child’s world.

Play therapy uses the therapeutic powers of play to help children prevent or resolve psychosocial difficulties, improve mental health, and achieve optimal growth and development.

The Play Therapy Center at Nazareth specializes in working with children ages 3-10 who have experienced trauma or distressing life events. The Center operates on Wednesdays and follows Nazareth University's academic calendar.
