Community Interfaith Organizations

Interfaith Forum of Rochester:

The Forum is representative of different faith communities in Rochester area and meets once a month.

Commission on Jewish Christian Relations:

The Commission was created to build bridges and build better relation between the two communities and meets on the first Monday of every month at 12 noon at the Jewish Community Federation at 441 East Ave.

Commission on Christian Muslim Relations (CCMR):

The Commission was created in 1993.  The representatives of the two communities meet on the first Wednesday of every month at 11:30AM at the Islamic Center of Rochester on 727 Westfall Road.

Commission for Jewish Muslim Understanding (CJMU):

The commission was created in 2003 for creating mutual understanding and appreciation between the Jewish and Muslim communities of the greater Rochester area.  The Commission meets once every month.

Muslim Catholic Alliance (MCA):

The Muslim Catholic Alliance was created in 2003 as a partnership between the Roman Catholic Diocese and the Council of Masajid of Rochester to promote mutual understanding, dialogue, and cooperation between the Catholic and Muslim communities of the greater Rochester area.
