  • It takes six people three and a half working days to mow and trim all the lawns at Nazareth. That's about 168 hours worth of work.
  • The Heritage Oaks are two 15-foot English oaks located to the left of the drive to parking lot Q, near the path to the horse barn. They were grown from acorns that were brought back from the real Sherwood Forest.
  • We don't just produce great scholars and athletes; we also produce outstanding coaches. Sixteen Naz grads now serve as Naz varsity coaches, and former Golden Flyer Jeff Van Gundy '85 was head coach of the New York Knicks and the Houston Rockets.
  • Once per semester, during finals week, the faculty and staff of Nazareth traditionally get together at midnight in Kearney Dining Hall to serve eggs, pancakes, hash browns, grits and other breakfast fare to study-crazed Naz students.
  • The Lorette Wilmot library holds more than a quarter million volumes. If you stacked all these volumes one on top of the other, they would travel a distance of 3.329 miles.
  • If you stand at a certain spot just outside of the Shults Student Center, everything you say will echo. The next time you visit campus, ask anyone where the "Echo Circle" is located and try it out.
  • No need for friends and family to send the standard rolls of quarters in care packages from home: Nazareth undergraduates can do their laundry for free in their residence halls.
