A Society for Today's Visionaries

The College’s founders, five visionary women who understood the need for better access to higher education, turned dreams into reality for thousands of students by placing a college degree within reach. In honor of those early leaders – and all who followed – Nazareth invites you to become a member of the Council Oak Society, recognizing, as our founders did, the impact today’s support will have on tomorrow’s scholars. With a gift of $1,000 or more to the Nazareth Fund, your support will go to where the need is greatest: adding student scholarships, attracting qualified faculty, enhancing curriculum, improving library services, keeping pace with technology, and upgrading campus facilities.

Last fiscal year, over 300 Council Oak Society members contributed $2,725,000 to Nazareth College.

Here are some of the ways your support helped our students:

• International travel to broaden global and cultural awareness.
• Smart classroom and campus technology improvements.
• Physical therapy clinic equipment for students to learn and providing a community service to 3,500 people who are underinsured.
  
• Laboratory supplies for research, which will be housed in the new Integrated Center for Math and Science, currently under construction.

As a society member, you earn a place at select campus events, receive recognition both on campus and in our publications, and are kept up-to-date on milestones and plans at the College.

• O'Connor Circle: $25,000 and above
• Smyth Circle: $10,000 - $24,999
• Carroll Circle: $5,000-$9,999
• Lyons Circle: $2,500-$4,999

GOLD - Graduates of the Last Decade

GOLD alumni have a special opportunity to become Council Oak Society members. Instead of the $1,000 donation usually required, GOLD can join the Council Oak Society by giving $100 for each year after their graduation date. This applies to both undergraduate and graduate alumni. For example:
