						<description>SUFI music means any music that connects with the heart.  This unique style combines the use of folk instruments and singing that transports listeners into spiritual ecstasy.  A whirling dervish is a dancer who by spinning empties himself of all distracting thoughts, placing him in a spiritual trance.</description>

						<description>If you&amp;rsquo;ve ever thought about how hair influences the way people are perceived--explore the intersections of hair, beauty, and identity at a panel discussion on &lt;strong&gt;November 11, at 4:30 p.m., in the Golisano Academic Center, room 38 located on the Nazareth College campus at 4245 East Ave., Rochester, N.Y. 14618&lt;/strong&gt;. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Nazareth College and community members can also &lt;strong&gt;donate their hair&lt;/strong&gt; to a variety of non-profits that match wigs with cancer survivors and other individuals who need temporary and replacement locks. Stylists from Tru Salon in Pittsford are volunteering their time to cut donors' hair. The minimum donation is eight inches and the &lt;strong&gt;hair donation event will take place in the lower lobby of the new Arts Center at 6:00 p.m.&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For more information and to register, contact Jennifer Leigh at jleigh4@naz.edu or Lisa Perks at lperks3@naz.edu.</description>
