Athletics

The Shults Center is the center of attention when it comes to most athletics. The gym and pool are both located within this building. With 23 intercollegiate Division III teams, there is always something going on. For more information about Athletics here at Nazareth, please visit the Athletics web page.

The main gym is available for student use when athletic teams are not using it. The auxiliary gym is available unless the tarp is down for a special event. Equipment can be borrowed from the Equipment Room.

Fitness Center

The Fitness Center is located in the downstairs portion of the Shults Center. The Fitness Center has a wide variety of equipment that can fit all of your needs. Besides the free weights, and weight machines, there are also Stair masters, treadmills, and bicycles to help you add a little pizzazz to your everyday workout. 

Summer Hours - May 14th - August 26:

Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 9 a.m. - 1pm.

Closed May 14th, May 27th, 28th, July 4th

Racquetball Courts

The racquetball courts are located in the back side of the Shults Center across from several of the Athletic Offices. The courts can be accessed any time that the Shults Center is open. If the court you are interested in using is locked, venture down to the Equipment Room for keys.

Equipment Room

Don't have own your own racquetball equipment, but still want to enjoy the sport? What about a volleyball or even a wallyball? If any of these sports sound interesting to you, take a trip downstairs and visit the Equipment Room, where you can borrow any of these sporting needs, plus many others… So don't just sit there - go and have some fun!!

Swimming Pool

The pool is available for use by the Nazareth Community many hours of the week. Just bring your Nazareth ID card, a suit, and a towel along! There are lockers available for use to store personal items, but don't forget a lock.

Mornings
Monday - Fridayy: 7:30 a.m. – 9 a.m.

Mid-Day
Monday – Friday: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Evenings
Monday - Thursday: 8 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Weekends
Saturday & Sunday: 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Note:

• There will be no open swim when there is a home meet.
• A valid Nazareth ID OR a Guest Fee of $5.00 is required to use the pool. Pool hours may change if there is an athletic event scheduled.

Bikes@Naz

Bikes are available for rental from Bikes@Naz with a valid Nazareth ID.  Bikes@Naz is located near the Racquetball Courts in the Shults Center.  If you are interested in renting a bike over the Summer, please go to the Information Desk or call x2322.
