A number of Service-Learners (both faculty and students) have written and published articles about their Service-Learning experience at Nazareth.

"Teaching civic engagement"
This article was published in "Gateways: International Journal of Community Research and Engagement" by Jed Metzger, an associate professor in social work. The article discusses how Metzger used Service-Learning to engage with the community and address the problem of youth violence.

In this paper, Rebecca Wulforst examines "The Utilization of Ethical Models to Develop Learning Experiences and Improve the Programs at a Community Organization"
"Out-of-school programs: Connecting, Contributing, Caring"
This editorial was published in the Democrat and Chronicle, in it, Collin Hayes, Khadija Aweis, and Braa Elkhind explain how the Nazareth College Service-Learning First Year Seminar connects students in the college with students in the community.

In this publication, Dr. Ed Wiltse of the Nazareth College English Dept. discusses his "Jail Project", the yearly service-learning project which sets up "Student-Inmate Reading Groups at Monroe Correctional Facility"

Enhancing Student Gerocompetencies: Evaluation of an Intergenerational Service Learning Course
This article features a cooperative effort between Dr. Steitz of the Nazareth College Gerontology Program and Jason A. Dauenhauer, Carmen I. Aponte, & Debra Fromm Faria, all from the Social Work program at the College at Brockport. It discusses how students with hands-on experience will make the best professionals.

This article was published by Nazareth Students Dana Court, Jaide Edwards, and Abigail Goings, along with their faculty advisor Dr. Steitz. It appeared in Columbia College's Service-Learning Journal and assesses "The Older Adult and Student Partnership"
Applying Ethical Theory to the Evaluation of a Community Organization
This case study, written by Giulia Molisana and Rebecca Wulforst "takes an in-depth look at a community organization’s programs through the analysis of the data collected from activity observations using the Out of School Time (OST) observation instrument...and summarizes the research process, presents the main findings, and suggests how the community organization can improve their programs."
