During the summer of 2009, the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment developed and tested a scoring rubric for review of academic program assessment plans.

Assessment Forms and Information

Below are the instructions and forms for submitting assessment plans and findings from academic program assessment.  Notice that alternate versions of both forms are available below.  Choose the version that is more comfortable for your process.

Academic Assessment Form:  Submit the two forms below on or before October 1st. The Findings and Recommendations covers the results of the previous academic year's assessment, the Plan will cover the current academic year.

• Group Exercise for Developing Student Learning Outcomes in the Discipline:
  This two page exercise guides groups of faculty through a conversation to develop specific student learning outcomes. The first step has each individual brainstorm ideas. Then the group works together to refine ideas into outcomes with assessment plans.
