The mission of the Interdisciplinary Institute for Professional Ethics (IIPE) is to encourage ethical reasoning and moral imagination in the professions, ethical leadership, and scholarship in ethics.

Inspired by the history, values, and culture of hospitality of Nazareth College, the Institute promotes discourse that affirms the inherent worth, dignity, and moral responsibility of all persons.

The Institute operates at the intersection of the academy and the professions, contributing to the moral education of future professionals as well as responding to the ethical concerns of the professional communities of the region.
