Parents Advisory Council
Mission
The mission of Nazareth College is to educate its students in the liberal arts and sciences and in professional fields so as to foster commitment to a life informed by intellectual, ethical and aesthetic values; to develop skills necessary for the pursuit of a meaningful vocation; and to inspire dedication to the ideal of service to their communities. Nazareth attracts and nurtures students who want to make a difference in their lives and in the world around them, and helps them develop the strength, commitment and confidence to lead fully informed and actively engaged lives.
An essential ingredient of the Nazareth experience is a commitment to the creation and maintenance of an inclusive community. Parents and guardians of our students are an essential part of that community.
The Parents Advisory Council was established to enhance the participation of parents in our community by serving as an advisory board to the President of the College. The Council will provide advice and assistance to the President on such matters as recruitment of new students, career placement, communication with parent and guardians, fundraising and ways to involve parents and guardians in the life of the College.
