Student Wellness Center Established

At Nazareth, we are committed to offering our students more than a quality education. We are dedicated to providing them with quality supportive services so that they can be at their best physically, emotionally, socially, spiritually, and intellectually.

In the Fall of 2012, we established the Student Wellness Center- a one-stop-shop for students’ physical and psychological needs. Located in the former psychology building, the SWC houses two distinct departments- Student Health Services and Counseling Services- and works collaboratively to offer our students the best care possible. Because the body and mind are so intricately connected, physical ailments can impact our mental health and emotional or relational struggles can impact our physical health. The Student Wellness Center staff strives to understand the complex mind-body connection and to provide our students with the most comprehensive, holistic care possible.

We are also affiliated with the Center for Spirituality and the Department of Athletics, as we honor the physical, socio-emotional, and spiritual aspects of well-being.

To learn more about the services offered, please visit our websites.

What to do after-hours: Health Services closes at 5, but our Nurse Advice Line is available to all currently enrolled students after-hours. Let your sons and daughters know that they can call 1-866-910-5313 if they need medical consultation in the evening or on the weekend. For after-hours mental health emergencies, contact Campus Safety at 585-389-2850. They will contact the on-call clinician as necessary.
