Hello Nazareth Parents,
In an effort to keep you informed and provide you with as much information as possible regarding things that are happening on campus, I am excited to deliver this 2012-2013 newsletter. We hope to gather information and resources you may find beneficial to you and your respective daughters and sons.
We had an eventful fall semester and your students have been hard at work learning and living in the Nazareth community. We enjoyed lovely weather this fall with the exception of late October, when we felt the impact of Hurricane Sandy. In anticipation of the storm and the potential impact on campus, our emergency preparedness plan was triggered and we planned accordingly. Fortunately, the local impact was less severe than we anticipated and we did not experience any injuries or significant property damage. Our thoughts go out to all of those affected by the storm’s impact.
Family Weekend brought glorious weather, and the opportunity for families to enjoy quality time with their students. We have received rave reviews on the weekend, which included outstanding performances on Friday night from our very own a capella group, Call4Backup, and the internationally recognized The Exchange. In addition, students and parents alike had fun being hypnotized or watching others placed under the hypnotic spell of Saturday night’s entertainer. For those who were unable to attend, we hope you are able to join us next year.
Best wishes for 2013!
Best regards,
Bobby Maldonado
