Nazareth College is ready to welcome the Class of 2016 as 480 new freshmen and 170 transfer students arrive on campus. Nazareth's "Orientation 2012" begins on Thursday, August 23, when the new students from 5 countries (including South Africa, Switzerland, and Serbia), and 18 states move in to the residence halls on campus. They'll spend the weekend participating in a whirlwind of activities, including New Student Convocation and the annual Orientation Day of Service on Friday, August 24.
Nazareth chose the Class of 2016 from a record applicant pool of more than 3,100 applications. Approximately one quarter of the incoming students compete in one of Nazareth’s 24 intercollegiate athletic teams.
