The Nazareth community will be hosting a relief concert for the people of Pakistan that are in urgent need of aid as a result of recent flooding. This concert will be held in Colie’s Café (in George Residence Hall) on Nazareth campus on Tuesday, September 14th at 8:00 p.m. There is a suggested $3 donation at the door, and it is open to the Nazareth community.
Anum Masoud, a Nazareth international student from Pakistan will be talking about her home and the effects of the devastating floods on the people of Pakistan. All performances will be by Nazareth students that will deliver an entertaining night and a mixture of sounds including pop, classical, jazz and much more. Performers include Call4Backup, Ronnie Lewis, Evan Meccarello, Josh Forget, Gregory Best, Joseph Ehrmentraut, and Nicholas Paruta.
All proceeds from the concert will go to the Red Cross’s Pakistan Relief and Development Fund. For more information about the Red Cross’s response go to http://www.redcross.org.
