Nazareth College, in collaboration with the High Falls Film Festival, is excited to showcase nine youth-produced films in a special screening for the 2012 Rochester Teen Film Festival; a collaborative, juried media competition for youth in the Rochester region.
Selected out of 38 entries from 13-18 year olds in the greater Rochester area, the finalist filmmakers will join their friends, teachers, families and the Rochester community at the Little Theatre on Wednesday, August 1, at 5:30 p.m., to present their films and receive awards from an esteemed panel of judges including local filmmakers, educators and movie critics. Admission is free and open to the public. The Rochester Teen Film Festival is an annual celebration of youth filmmakers, which honors the work of urban, suburban, and rural teenagers. The festival gives teenagers the opportunity to share their stories with each other and the Greater Rochester Community.
