Professor Receives Prestigious Award from Academy of Management

Nazareth College is proud to announce Jennifer S. Leigh as a recipient of the 2012 Management Education and Development (MED) Division’s Best Annual Meeting Reviewer Award. This honor is awarded to the top ten percent of those who have assessed and recommended papers to be submitted to the MED division for the annual Academy of Management meeting. Leigh, one of 33 award recipients nationwide, is an assistant professor of management in Nazareth’s School of Management. She will accept her award on Monday, August 6 at the MED Award ceremony in Boston, Mass.

MED is a division of the Academy of Management, the oldest and largest scholarly management association in the world. The Academy is dedicated to creating and sharing knowledge about management and organizations. MED, the tenth largest division of the Academy’s twenty-five groups, serves to encourage professional scholarship specifically in management education and development among interested members of the Academy of Management.

Founded in 1924, Nazareth College is located on a close-knit, suburban campus in the dynamic, metropolitan region of Rochester, N.Y. The College offers challenging academic programs in the liberal arts and sciences and professional programs in health and human services, education, and management. Nazareth's strong cultures of service and community prepare students to be successful professionals and engaged citizens.
