Thanksgiving Basket Collection

In the spirit of giving, the Center for Spirituality, the Nursing Department, and Campus Safety Department at Nazareth College are sponsoring food collections to fill baskets for the Thanksgiving holiday. The collections will benefit Rochester families in need through the Dimitri House and Easter Seals. Collection dates will be from November 3 through November 16. To donate, drop off locations can be found at the Center for Spirituality office in the Golisano Academic Center (Room 153), the Nursing Department in Smyth Hall (Room 283), and the Campus Safety Department located in the basement of the Shults Center. For more information, please contact Stephanie Preece at spreece2@mail.naz.edu.

To volunteer in other ways, you can create a food basket for a specific family or make a monetary donation. There are also openings to help organize and deliver food baskets. For a list of items needed please contact Stephanie Preece.

The Campus Safety Department Food for Fines Program is also a way to donate. Campus Safety will waive parking fines for most tickets with a donation of four non-perishable food items. For more information please contact Jody Cascino at jcascin0@naz.edu.
