WHAT:     It’s a celebration of imagination and creativity as Nazareth’s Saturday Art Program shows off the artwork of more than 130 children and teens from all around the Rochester area! The Saturday Art Program is hosting its art exhibition this weekend for the families of all the young people involved in the program to display their creativity at the Colacino Art Gallery in the Nazareth College Arts Center.

    There are eight classes with 132 students in the fall program from school districts in throughout Monroe County and neighboring counties. Established 20 years ago, Saturday Art for Children and Teens is an enrichment program in the visual arts for children in Pre-K through 9th grade. Students in grades Pre-K through 6 actively create art in a variety of 2D and 3D media. Students in grades 7-9 create digital art in one of the college's state of the art computer labs. Saturday sessions are taught by advanced art education students and are supervised by Nazareth faculty.
