Casablanca is the story of a seven-year-old boy, Pedrito, and his best friend, Linette who are the children of Spanish immigrants. Living in the poorest area of Casablanca, the children use their imaginations to create a beautiful realm filled with magical stories to escape the harsh realities of the world they live in. The story takes the audience into the future, where we see the great destinies that await Pedrito and Linette. Casablanca is a story of the pain of growing up in a world at the border of extinction and of hope as the children dream of a harmonious country where people are valued, respected, and loved no matter what culture and background they are from.
