Nazareth Celebrates Fourth Annual nazGREENday, Sept. 13

Nazareth is excited to celebrate its fourth annual nazGREENday on Thursday, September 13 with a farmer's market from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m in the Shults Center Forum, located at 4245 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14618. Showcasing Nazareth’s impressive environmental initiatives, the farmer's market will feature local produce for purchase (cash only), local farmers, an apple cider corner, and a Chartwells Bakery Corner and Soup Station featuring local produce as well.

Nazareth’s sustainability efforts will also be on display with booths from the Bikes@Naz program, the brand-new greenhouse at Peckham Hall, Barnes & Noble, and Sodexo Facilities. A station to recycle old ink cartridges, cell phones, and other electronics will also be available at the event. nazGREENday also kicks off the annual "Watts Up, Naz?" dorm challenge in which residence halls compete to save energy for a month with a reward for the community that saves the most.
