Lucky Seven for Alumnus Jack Allocco '72

Nazareth College is proud to announce that Jack Allocco'72 (center of photo) just received two more Daytime Emmy Awards from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences making a career total of seven Emmys for the talented composer and musician. The Daytime Emmys were held on June 16 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

Allocco's Emmy Awards this year were for Outstanding Music Direction and Composition for a Drama Series for his role as a music director in the popular daytime drama The Bold & the Beautiful and Outstanding Original Song for a Drama Series (“Only Love Goes on Forever”) as a composer and lyricist for The Young and the Restless. He is a composer, conductor, music producer, and director whose career spans television, film, and theater.
