Nazareth Hosts Free Training Series for Community Organizers

The Community/University Partnership Project (CUPP) Leads Free Series

Nazareth College is hosting a three-month series led by the Community/University Partnership Program (CUPP), a consortium of faculty from local universities (including Nazareth) and managers from local nonprofits. The Community/University Partnership Project (CUPP) 2010 Academy Training Series is designed to build capacity for established and grassroots nonprofit organizations in the Greater Rochester Area. Individuals from community groups, local nonprofits, faith-based organizations, and local colleges and universities are invited to participate. Workshops range from Fundamentals of Community Organizations to Introduction to Program and Practice Evaluation.

The workshops, which run from March 10 through May 19th, are free and open to all, and will be held in the Golisano Academic Center on the Nazareth College Campus at 4245 East Ave in Rochester. To register, please contact Matt Krueger at (585)389-2449 or mkruege0@naz.edu. Registration is due at least 48 hours before each workshop.
