RCT/Nazareth Students Raised Curtain at Opening

October 15, 2009

Nazareth College Arts Center‘s Black-Tie Unveiling Opened with Spectacular Curtain Raiser Featuring Rochester Children’s Theatre with Nazareth College Music Theatre Students

The Nazareth College Arts Center’s Black-Tie Unveiling lived up to its billing as The Event of the Season. This outstanding celebration of the reopening of the Arts Center was made even more poignant with stellar performances from Nazareth College Arts Center artistic partners – Rochester Children’s Theatre, Rochester City Ballet and Garth Fagan Dance.

A partner in producing children’s theatre for the past five years, Rochester Children’s Theatre was honored to kick off the evening’s festivities. With a cast of seven RCT regulars (all professional actors) and an ensemble of 20 Nazareth College music theatre students, the opening number was a hilarious look at what went into making the dream of the renovated Arts Center come true.
