Cinematic pop string quartet ATLYS to perform at Nazareth

Nazareth University's College of Visual, Performing Arts and Design's 2023/2024 Changemakers Series presents An Evening with ATLYS, a classically trained, all-female string quartet that pushes the boundaries of their genre to create an infinite world of crossover chamber music possibilities. The innovative musical group takes the Beston Hall stage in the Glazer Music Performance Center, 4245 East Ave., at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, February 9.

Nazareth University forging an international partnership with schools in Bermuda

Nearly a dozen students in Bermuda recently received their acceptance letters to Nazareth University. The twist? They were hand-delivered — all the way from Rochester, New York, by a familiar face from Nazareth’s admissions office — Frank Williams, associate vice president for advanced admissions and partnerships.

Community Youth Development Director Kia Brooks named to Governor Hochul’s Interfaith Advisory Council executive committee

Nazareth University’s new director of the community youth development undergraduate program — Kia C. Brooks — is a well-known, third-generation pastor in Rochester who was recently tapped to be an executive committee member of Governor Kathy Hochul’s New York State Interfaith Advisory Council. The council’s mission is to build and foster relationships with faith leaders across New York state’s communities.
