Be part of a dynamic graduate program of study that will help you to understand, support, and challenge adolescent learners of mathematics. Our Mathematics Education program emphasizes interactions with faculty in both mathematical content and pedagogy. Students will develop a depth and breadth of mathematical understanding by taking graduate level mathematics content courses linked to pedagogy. At the same time, students will strengthen their background in school mathematics curriculum, instructional practices, assessment, and technology. Equally important, students will develop an appreciation and awareness of current issues in mathematics education and their implications for research and practice.
