Who is Considered a Naz Alum?

To be included in the Alum category for ILL & Document Delivery Services you must have a degree -- undergraduate, graduate, or both -- from Nazareth College. Those who have taken classes at Nazareth College, but have not earned a degree from the college, are not considered alum.

What Does ILL Cost Alum?

Loans and Articles -- $7.50 per request

Loan Charges are payable at the Main Circulation Desk upon receipt of the item. Articles Charges will be added to your Library Account upon receipt of article and are payable at the Main Circulation Desk upon your next visit. Be aware that the Library System automatically blocks at the $10.00 level.

How Many ILL Books May Alum Have Checked Out at One Time?

Alum are allowed to check out of the library ten (10) ILL items at any one time.

NOTE: Nazareth Alum currently registered and paying tuition at another institution should use that institution’s Interlibrary Loan Service.  Also, ILL services may be available at a lower cost through your local public library.

Why Are Alum Charged?

ILL is an expensive service with costs being absorbed by the College, and paid for through tuition from current students. Results from a recent study show the average cost to borrow an item through Interlibrary Loan is $18.00.
