Dr. George Eisen, a professor of Sociology and History, is the product of three educational systems: Hungary, Israel, and the United States. Dr. Eisen has extensive experience in higher education management. He has been instrumental in the design and management of international training and educational projects as well as higher education programs in the United States and abroad. |

Mrs. Emily Craft is a graduate of Nazareth College and has worked advising international students for 6 years. She is knowledgeable about F-1 and J-1 regulations and manages financial aspects of the Center for International Education. In her free time she likes to travel and dance with her husband. |

Dr. Timothy Kneeland, a professor of History and Political Science, is a political analyst and author having published works on American politics and history. Since 2007 Dr. Kneeland has worked closely with the Center for International Education to develop and support the work of the Study of the United States Institute. |

Dr. Carlnita Greene is an Assistant Professor and the Director of the Communication & Rhetoric program. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin and her research broadly can be defined as the intersection of rhetorical theory and popular culture. She has previously published on subjects as diverse as food culture, post-feminism and the media, identity and social style, rhetorical theory in the 21st century, and popular culture and pedagogy. |

Dr. Otieno Kisiara is an Associate Professor of Anthropology, with research interests in agrarian labor and development in sub-Saharan Africa, and global forced migration and refugee resettlement. Dr. Kisiara’s research & training have been funded by such organizations as the Wenner-Gren Foundation for Anthropological Research, the Fulbright Program, the Rockefeller Foundation, and the National Endowment for the Humanities, and his work has included travels to Kenya, Uganda, Morocco, Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, Poland, Canada, Australia, and Israel. His teaching areas include anthropological theory, globalization and culture, religion and ritual in Africa, population displacement and refugee resettlement, and ethnobotany. |

Adam Lewandowski is the Director for the Department of Community Service, part of the Center for Civic Engagement. The Department of Community Service provides opportunities for leadership, service and civic engagement in partnership with local and international schools and organizations. The programs advance student learning by increasing the understanding of social problems, strengthening social responsibility and heightening an understanding of human diversity while responding to the needs of the community. |

Dr. Muhammad Shafiq is the executive director of the
Hickey Center for Interfaith Studies and Dialogue, and is professor of
Islamic and religious studies at Nazareth College. In addition, he is
the Imam of the Islamic Center of Rochester, Inc. Dr. Shafiq holds a
Ph.D. from Temple University, and a M.A. and B.A. from the University
of Peshawar. |
