This full-semester experiential learning program placed students in Germany's dynamic capital, Berlin. This program was one of Nazareth's longest-running and most popular programs. With a wide range of humanities courses as well as a professional internship, this study abroad program allowed students to hone their professional skills and connect their coursework with the living history of the city. 

Program Highlights:

  • Students studied abroad as full-time students for one semester at Studienforum-Berlin.
  • Students lived with host families who provided an unparalleled cultural immersion experience.
  • Students took three liberal arts courses in English, one course in the German language at the student's level, and one credit-bearing internship, tailored to their interests and language proficiency.
  • Students took German language courses with other international students at Die Neue Schule.
  • Weekend excursions to sites around Germany, including Potsdam, Dresden, Weimar, Erfurt, Buchenwald, as well as visits to destinations in other European countries such as Slubice, Poland and Prague, Czech Republic.
