Program Details

Overview

Designed for international high school juniors and seniors, the Summer University Enrichment Program consists of two three-credit courses in history and English, as well as an optional course in business, taught by full-time Nazareth College faculty members.

Students may also enroll in a short one-credit enrichment course in music or art for an additional fee. The courses allow students to explore the fine arts, creating a more balanced academic experience.

Each course is credit-bearing and transferable to institutions of higher education in the U.S. or abroad.

Additional Program Benefits

We believe that studying at Nazareth involves more than just an academic program: it is a life experience. Thus, the summer enrichment program for international high school students incorporates important learning experiences outside the classroom.

Benefits include:

  • Two major field trips, including a visit to Niagara Falls
  • Two receptions
  • Visits to museums and other venues
  • Participation in cultural and recreational events
  • Visits to key local industries
  • Lectures by leading scholars in a variety of fields
  • Access to campus recreation, the library, and computer labs

Housing

Students stay in comfortable and secure housing in double occupancy rooms under the supervision of a guidance counselor who lives on the same floor with the students. Students are provided with a full meal plan, and may also enjoy meals off-campus under the supervision of a counselor. All students enrolled in the program must have comprehensive health insurance as well as proof of inoculation.
