Don't wait to see what we have scheduled. We are always receptive to requests from faculty and staff for organizing training opportunities in which individuals or groups may be interested and/or have a need.  Use this request form to initiate such a request.

As always, there is a standing invitation to instructors to contact us for an individual consultation to discuss your specific needs in building and managing your courses (whether you are using Moodle or not). For a consultation, contact either Paul or Kate via email or telephone:

MOODLE: Great New Features in 2.3 That You May Not Know About

With our new Moodle 2.3 there have been some new features added that you may find interesting and useful. This workshop is primarily intended for those already using Moodle, but anyone with any level of Moodle experience is welcome. These features in particular may not add a great deal new to your Moodle tool kit, but they will make using Moodle easier, more functional, and more interesting. Among the items that we will look at are: Repositories, Joule Grader and Reports, Rubrics, Completion Tracking, New Forum options.

MOODLE: Gradebook Consultation

The best way to utilize the grading tools within Moodle is to learn to manage the variety of options available and set them up properly. It is admittedly a challenge, one that is best dealt with in a personal consultation with one of the team. Contact either Paul or Kate to set up a time to discuss using your gradebook.

Adobe Acrobat Pro

PDF files are intended to be a user friendly, easy to manage format for universal sharing and access. Anyone who has wrestled with trying to read or edit a pdf file might not agree. This session will be focusing on Adobe Acrobat Pro and its capabilities. Facilitator: Paul Monachino
Location: Online
