Gmail, Calendar and Appointments

Now that you have your accounts up and running here is a chance to learn to more effectively set up and navigate Gmail, Google Calendar and Appointments. Since this is a hands-on session, group size is limited.

Google Drive

Google Drive offers an amazing array of possibilities for users  to store documents online in your Drive account, create new documents using the online tools, and sharing and collaborating with others. You will be amazed at the variety of ways that you can utilize Drive. Since this is a hands on session, group size is limited.

Google Apps General Sharing Session

This will be an informal Q&A session focusing on the questions raised by the participants in each group.

There is also an extensive list of on demand Google Apps training videos by topic and other resources on Moodle.  Please note that the list of topics is subject to change. 

To view these videos you can either login with your MyNaz username and password or use the Guest access on the bottom of the login page. Either method will give you full access to the videos and other training materials.

Faculty and staff may have at some point created offline Zimbra archive files (.tgz extension) in the effort to conserve Zimbra account space.  In order for this data to migrated to Google, you must first import these files back into your Zimbra account.   If you wish to retain this data in your new Google Apps account, please contact the Technology & Media Service Desk for assistance.  To view the procedure, please click here.
