Human Resources' mission is to be a strategic partner with faculty and staff of Nazareth College and identify and respond to its changing needs. The Department will:

  • take a leadership role to develop and administer effective Human Resources Programs to recruit, employ, develop and retain a qualified, diverse workforce who will support the mission of the College
  • foster a positive, caring work environment where the diversity of all members is respected
  • endeavor to make Nazareth College the employer of choice
  • implement competitive benefit and compensation programs
  • offer assistance with employee relations issues
  • assist employees in reaching their maximum potential through effective staff professional development initiatives
  • interpret College polices and procedures
  • respond to the needs of the College community in a supportive and proactive manner and administer College polices and benefits programs fairly and equitably
