Sexual Health

Sexuality is a big issue, but there are others - how much you commit to a relationship, to social obligation, to honesty and being honest with yourself.

Sexual Health

The college years can be a time of change, growth and understanding of the self and others. It may also be a time to discover and learn about our sexuality.  But sexuality encompasses more than just sexual activity. It involves who we are, how we see ourselves, how we feel about ourselves, and what we want from our relationships.

According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Sexual health is a state of physical, emotional, mental and social well-being in relation to sexuality; it is not merely the absence of disease, dysfunction or infirmity.

Sexual health requires a positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships, as well as the possibility of having pleasurable and safe sexual experiences, free of coercion, discrimination and violence.

At Nazareth, we offer fun, and provocative workshops on Healthy Sexuality for classes and residential floors.  To reserve a workshop call 389-2507.
