Yoga Specialization Courses & Yoga Therapy Clinic

“The rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind & the harmony of the soul create the symphony of life.” B.K.S. Iyengar

Because of student interest in yoga and Dr. Horovitz's yoga therapy offered in the clinic, we created a yoga specialization within the Art Therapy program. These course are electives and run in a non-traditional mode.

  • CAT 691  will meet on Fridays from 1/18/13 - 2/22/13 from 8:30am -4:30pm.
  • CAT 692 will run for two consecutive Saturdays 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM  on 6/1- 6/2/13 and 6/8/- 6/9/13
  • CAT 693, will run on two  (2) weekends, time and date TBA.

These courses do not lead to yoga registration (RYT) and/or any kind of yoga therapy certification. They are simply meant to educate students on the history, philosophy and theoretical implication of yoga practice and therapy.

Classes are open to all students in the School of Health and Human Services (SHHS).   For more information contact: Dr. Ellen G. Horovitz, ATR-BC, LCAT, RYT
