About the Workshop

Essentially, yoga is a set of disciplined transformative practices that help to join together the finite experience of embodied consciousness with an expansive view of infinite consciousness. Art, as an awareness practice, is a way to inquire into this numinous equation through the formation and transformation of physical materials, which allow hidden aspects of ourselves to be seen and contemplated. Through lecture and hands on work with clay, this workshop will address practical applications for meditation and yoga in clinical work and daily practice.
