An Event Co-Sponsored by The Center for Civic Engagement and Career Services:

The goals for this event are to raise student awareness about the opportunities that exist to work with/for not-for-profit organizations, to provide examples of how some of our alumni transitioned from their studies at Nazareth into the non-profit sector, and to promote student consideration of working for organizations whose main goal is to "give back" or help improve the lives of others within our community and across the world.

The format will be a panel presentation, where each alumnus will have the opportunity to speak about their experience with working for a non-profit organization, the path which led them from Nazareth to the non-profit arena, and the types of opportunities students could pursue with a non-profit (such as advocacy, development, grant writing, etc.). Following the brief presentations, the students in attendance will have the opportunity to ask questions of the panelists while you enjoy refreshments with each other.
