Nazareth College’s Hickey Center for Interfaith Studies and Dialogue Presents: Deities and Saints in Dialogue: Hindu-Christian Exchange in South Indian Practice. The keynote speaker is Professor of Religious Studies, Corinne Dempsey, Ph.D

Corinne Dempsey received her master's in theology from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley and her doctorate in contemporary religions of India from Syracuse University. She has conducted field work and published on South Indian Christianity and North American Hinduism. Her forthcoming book, Bringing the Sacred Down to Earth: Adventures in Comparative Religion, explores everyday, material access to the sacred within Hindu and Christian traditions.
