The Nazareth College Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures will present Diabolo, an original, multilingual play by the department’s chairperson, Dr. Candide Carrasco. The show runs March 1-2 at 8 p.m., in Callahan Theater at Nazareth College Arts Center. Diabolo will be performed in English, with some French, Spanish, and Italian. The 80-minute performance is suggested for ages 10+.

Diabolo tells the story of a little prince who no one understands because he is different, and a community of tiny people living on his chandelier who welcome him into their realm. It is a story about the pain felt by people who are different, and how to overcome the darkest obstacles through friendship, love, and the search for beauty.
