The Nazareth College Department of Theatre Arts and Theatre League will present An Evening of David Ives, the second production of their 2013–2014 season.

The show, which celebrates the Tony Award-winning playwright, David Ives, will run November 15, 16, 22, and 23 at 8 p.m.; November 17 at 7 p.m.; and November 24 at 2 p.m., in Studio A48 at Nazareth College Arts Center.

David Ives is arguably America’s leading comic playwright. Renowned for the Tony Award-winning, Venus in Fur, he is perhaps best known for his off-the-wall short works that serve as mash-ups of farce, comedies of manners, and absurdism. The Nazareth College production features several of Ives’ wackiest works: Babel’s in Arms; Captive Audience; Degas, C’est Moi; English Made Simple; Sure Thing; The Blizzard; The Other Woman; Variations on the Death of Trotsky; and Words, Words, Words.

The Cast includes: Drew Alexander, Samantha Jo Buckman, K. Cody Hunt, Hannah Karpenko, Mary Kate Lodick, and Kayla Perconti.
