 Why are we celebrating?

In 2007 Nazareth College launched the “quiet phase” of the Campaign for College and Community.  To date we have raised $30 million. We have renovated the Arts Center; built a state-of-the-art Peckham Hall; and strengthened our endowment with additional scholarships, programs, and chairs; and, increased giving to our annual fund which supports key initiatives for the College.  It is time to celebrate these achievements in support of student and faculty excellence, and a strong and vital Nazareth College. To this end, we “kick-off” the public phase of our campaign and invite you – our Nazareth family – to be a part of this celebratory day of events and join us as we look to the future and meet our goals.

11:30 – 1:00  Campaign Kick-off Celebration   Forum, Otto A. Shults Center

Join President Daan Braveman and the entire Nazareth community for the official campaign kick-off event highlighting student-faculty achievements and sharing plans to move the College forward.  Enjoy refreshments following the event.

1:00 – 4:00   CARS 2013   Peckham Hall and Linehan Chapel

Walk over to Peckham Hall for the second annual CARS event, an impressive and significant academic event showcasing our students’ Creative Activity, Research and Scholarship, and highlighting teaching and student excellence at the College.  Students will personally present their creative activity, research and scholarship through interactive panels, posters, performances, and more.  For more details, see the CARS 2013 web page

4:00 – 5:00   CARS 2013 Reception    Atrium - Peckham Hall

Enjoy appetizers, refreshments, and conversation with the president, faculty, students, and other guests at the post-CARS 2013 reception in the light-filled atrium of Peckham Hall - one last opportunity to wander through the halls and view students work.
