Dr. Babacar Fall is a distinguished Professor at the School of Education (FASTEF) - previously known as Ecole Normale Supérieure- of the Université Cheikh Anta Diop in Dakar, Sénégal. His presentation will include information gathered from his recent UN mission to study education systems in three West African countries, with a focus on women’s education. The lecture will be given in English with a reception to follow. Research will also be presented by students in Dr. Mireille Le Breton’s service-learning course on French Literatures and Cultures in Africa at Nazareth College, and the students of Mme. Ariane Baer-Harper from Williamson High School.
