Dr. Claudette Crawford-Brown, a social work professor at the University of the West Indies (UWI) Mona campus is an expert on children and families in the Caribbean. She will analyze the complex historical, economic, social and cultural factors contributing to the epidemic of violence and trauma in Jamaica as well as prevention and intervention implications.
