Nazareth welcomes Captain Matt Zeller for a lecture and book signing on Tuesday, February 5 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Zeller is also a fellow at the Truman Project for National Security and an adjunct fellow at the American Security Project. He is the author of Watches Without Time (Just World Books, 2012), which chronicles his experience serving as an embedded combat adviser with the Afghan security forces in Ghazni, Afghanistan, in 2008. His writings have appeared in The Christian Science Monitor, Politico, and Roll Call. He is a regular commentator for the Huffington Post and has appeared on MSNBC, Fox News, Huffpost Live, Russia Today, and Al Jazeera.

Captain Zeller currently serves in the United States Army Reserve. He earned a BA in Government from Hamilton College and a MPA and a MA-IR from The Maxwell School at Syracuse University. Matt was the Democratic nominee for Congress in NY's 29th district in 2010.
