About Rita Nischal
To Rita Nischal, no area of law is as personal as Trust and Estates. Her clients are not corporations but individuals and their families. Their legal issues are often complex, delicate and highly confidential. Protecting assets, preserving legacies, securing businesses for future generations—Rita is a trusted advocate to her clients. She is their champion in issues of Medicaid, powers of attorney, healthcare proxies, elder law, probate, succession planning and more. Many of Rita's family members are physicians and, had she not gone into law, she likely would have been a doctor. Rita believes that law and medicine have much in common. They both strive to help people and make their lives better. They require careful listening, as well as accurate diagnostic and problem-solving skills. And they are both committed to putting the client first. In her ability to listen, to think analytically and creatively, and to protect her clients' interests, Rita embodies the word “trust.” Prior to joining Underberg & Kessler, Rita was an associate at McConville, Considine.
