The Teddy Bear Tree Arrives on Friday, November 12th! Make a HOLIDAY WISH come true!!

Each year Nazareth College partners with the Society for the Protection and Care of Children (SPCC) to collect holiday gifts for children and young families in need. The SPCC has many programs that help children affected by violence and domestic abuse. They also work with young parents who are struggling to complete their education, find sustaining jobs, and care for their little ones.

Now here’s what you can do:
1) Staring on Friday, November 12, visit the TEDDY BEAR TREE found just past the Circulation Desk in the Lorette Wilmot Library and Media Center to adopt a TEDDY BEAR (Don’t forget to leave your name, extension, and teddy bear number on the sign out sheet!!)

2) Each BEAR has a holiday wish from a local child, young mother, or young father in need.

3) Go shopping!

4) The most important step: Return your gift to the library Circulation Desk unwrapped no later than Monday, November 29th with the TEDDY BEAR securely attached. If you can return your gift earlier please do! (That helps us to keep things organized!) The gifts will then be delivered to the Society for the Protection and Care of Children, who will wrap and distribute them!

Don’t miss out on this chance to make a difference in a child’s life or to help a young adult! We can guarantee you won’t regret it!
